Maria Örnberg was a window-dresser, as well as a model for several years, before turning her talents to garden design, so it is not surprising that her attention to detail is second to none. After a few years of running a garden business in Namibia, she came to London to train at the British Gardening School. And after a stint working with Hewitt Landscaping where she was involved in projects such as Ronnie Wood's Harrington Club in London she set up her own business. Preferring the clean Scandinavian approach, with strong shapes, colours and clean lines rather than anything too pretty, Maria's main objective is to ensure that the garden can be used as an extension of the house.
